Hi there!

My name is Alexis and I am the chaos coordinator of Misner Family Farms! When I say chaos coordinator what I really mean is I'm the one creating the chaotic ideas. :) I am a wife, mom and entrepreneur!

I figured I'd take a moment and introduce myself! I am the face behind the social media, the sour behind the dough, the baker behind the goodies, the crafter behind the crafts, the gardener behind the garden (with the help of my husband, of course! Thanks honey!), and the crazy chicken lady behind the farm fresh eggs.

My absolute favorite things to do are bake cookies and bread, visit with my chickens, and spend quality time with my family. That quality time includes baking together, spending time outside in our garden, orchard or with our animals, heading out to a local family friendly place like the zoo or playing Fortnite together!

Why did I want to own a farm and bakery? Well, it all stems from when I was little. I remember going to my grandparent's house and always loving their gardens, fruit trees and the best thing ever, baking with my grandma! Of course, waking up to grandpa's eggs with "fly specks" was fun too!

I remember making my first loaf of bread with my grandma and the flavor is embedded in my brain. The fresh hot bread covered in butter, sitting at the counter just slicing piece after piece off with grandma, mesmerizing! Being able to give my kids that flavor with quality ingredients and no preservatives is the best feeling! The memory of making a pumpkin roll with my grandma is the funniest one yet. I remember our hands getting covered in cream cheese filling trying to roll it up and it just breaking in half! No way did that stop us from enjoying every bit of that pumpkin "roll". And my incredible Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies? Those are a memory from grandma as well! I guess you could say we like pumpkin. Haha.

Everything we create has a memory or reason behind it. We don't create something we don't have a heart for. We all know the best food is made from the heart.

Welcome to our page and I hope you find something to fill your heart with joy! :) Don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions, comments, concerns or suggestions!

Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a little and supporting our growing farm!
